Lost within this time
Tempered words sit within
These walls
Forged deep form the depths
Of where it all begins
Love’s calls
Starlit skies passing o’er
Whispering a song
It cries into the sky
This passion
For which skies long
A melody to strum the Heavens
Passes along our ears
Caressing along the frailty
Structure along like tears
Flowing gracefully into open arms
Waiting for reprieve
Barren in the desolate sky
Yearning to relieve
These open thoughts
Commandeering the mind
Captive to the hunter inside of us
Wanting for all of this….
A token left to find
Searching within this time
Memories of the things
Passed by
Division as sun hits the horizon
Transition into the mind
Gracefully hidden from plain sight
Where these lights fly
With fingertips longing
Over physical thought
Feeling definition
For all that has been sought
This elusive cure that slips away
Engraved into the sky was shared
Found within these forged lines
The sky has found itself bound
Held down by the stars that remember the times
When the sky would kneel down
