There she is
Smiling like always
To everybody she is the girl that always smiles
And nobody knows, that her smile
Is nothing but a disguise to keep her feelings a secret
You think she is so happy
Because you never see her cry
When you see her, all she does is smile
But inside she is crying silent tears
You think she is so strong
Because you never see her breaking down
To you she seems unbreakable
But inside she is torn apart
Inside she is holding so many fears
From all that happened trough the years
Still to you all she is

I wish I could fall in love
I wish that I could let it all go
But how to do it I don't know
I'm just afraid to love
Everytime I like some one
Clouds seem to apear up in the sky
And everytime we fall apart
it feels like I would die
I wish for the day
when it won't be this way
when I can let go of my fears
and find some one to stand by me for all the years

How can this be
I close my eyes
And when I open them again
Everything has changed
I don't know the things I see anymore
Everything seems so strange
I feel like an alien in my own world, my own room, even in my family
And suddenly there is no more you and me
It all feels so wrong
I feel like I'm loosing the will to go on
I once felt so strong
But now I don't think that I can hold on
I wish I could turn back the time
To the moment before I closed my eyes
To the time without silent cries for help
That nobody is able to hear

You once told me that you love me
but lately I get the feeling you are taking me for granted
I wonder if you still want to be with me
or if it is just too compfy to get up and leave
I still love you
And i am waiting here for you
but I won't wait here forever
cuz' its like a hell you put me through
I know I told you that I would fight for our love
But how can I fight them
when you are backing up with them
for me that situation is getting way too tough
and so I'm left here thinking
if it will ever change
will you ever be ready to stand up to them
so that we can be happy once again

I own a mask
That hardly shows any emotion at all
It's an old mask
But still it never seems to fall
Some people are scared by that mask
While others don't seem to notice it at all
I like this old mask
But it's not hanging on my wall

When I close my eyes
I can see your face
So clear as if you were right here
When I close my eyes
I can look right into your eyes
So blue and clear
When I close my eyes
I can smell your scent
It makes me believe, you were heaven sent
When I close my eyes
I can hear the sound of your voice
Softly calling out my name, telling me you love me
But when I open my eyes
I know that you are gone forever
And I start to cry

I still remember your eyes
Eyes so blue like the sky
I still remember your smile
Smiling you could bright up a room
I still remember your touch
A touch so soft like summer rain on my skin
I still remember our friendship
A friendship nothing could do apart
Always knowing what's on the other's mind
Always caring for each other
Always being there
I still remember the way I felt for you
Felt far beyond friendship
Always save in your arms
Like nothing could happen to change
I still remember the hurt
The pain that I felt
When you told me you feel the same
Before you went away and left me forever

You told me that you love me
You always talked
But never acted
Do you think it's just about saying nice words?
You made promises that were so sweet
then you found out, they are hard to keep
Still you keep on making them
Do you think it's simply about making me believe?
Do you really think
that this is what love is all about
maybe this is something
you've got to figure out
I just can't take it anymore cuz'
i was burned by it before
and it left me feeling sore
because for me that's not what love is about

softly summerrain is falling down on me
it softly washes away all my pain
and when the clouds have disapeared I open my eyes and see
that sunshine always follows after the rain
sometimes this is hard to see
'cuz when you are not right here with me
it's just not like it used to be
and it's something I don't wanna feel
But when I feel the summerrain
The feeling of love replaces all the pain
It helps to prevent me from going insane
If only you would feel the same
