Melody

There’s this instrument that I play
An instrument that plays a melody
Its beauty memorizes me
It’s dangerous
The melody of fatality comes forth while I play
A melody of devastation and apprehension

There’s this instrument that I play
An instrument that plays a melody
People are entranced by it’s beauty
This instrument and I bring forth harmony
Harmony that will hypnotize people into stopping
People do not move just listen and do not see

There is this instrument that plays a melody
This instrument and I bring forth harmony
This harmony is one of a kind
This instruments’ melody is like a troubled light
The harmony that plays,
Is just a shell of the true melody

My eyes taken from me
My instrument guides me

Blinded, but being able to play this instrument
I play with my ears
My fingers memorizing strings
This instrument and I are one of a kind

Both blinded
Both having outer shells
Both harmonizing with time
Both being played by unknown things

There is an instrument that plays me
An instrument that guides me
There is this tune that comes forth
A melody that harmonizes with those who fear
A melody that can allow the blind to see
That allows the death to walk

There is an instrument that I play
An instrument that can bring forth recognition

There is this instrument that sits and waits
There is a person who wanders
There is this instrument that’s alive
There is a person who is blind

A harmony is being played

There is this instrument that waits
A person sits
Blinded she hums
Deaf she writes, a melody

<center>Lit By A Single Candle

The lit candle
The dull light
A dim room
It’ll make you run in fright

There’s a chill in the air
A shiver runs down your spine
A haunting scream sounds the soundless night

Eyes that glow
Breathe, slowly
Limps that move without sound
Shut your eyes tightly

Do not move
Do not speak
Do not think
And do not blink
Do not see this hideous beast
That stands before you spit dripping, eyes glowing, and breath shallow

Do not move
You move back
You’ll set this predator in motion; submit, stay still

Your eyes scan and you blink
Do not look in the glowing amber eyes
You lock gazes with the moonlight beast

By candlelight you see the horrid thing
In the dim room, you feel the chill
You smell its stench
You feel its breath
And you react

Your body shudders and your knees buckle
Your stomach turns and your body crumbles
Without a sound you feel it move
In the candlelight you hear its breath

Before you know it, something is behind you
Breath, trickling your neck
Clawed hands running up an down your sides
Your position on the floor does not help you hide

You know he’s there
You feel him there
All but aware of the nudeness of what’s behind
His drool; dripping down your neck
His claws forming red lines along your sides
His chest fitting in place with your back
His head tilted and suckling on the exposed flesh

You do not move
You do not think
You do not breathe
You do not blink
To stunned by the body, by the beasts’ treatments towards you

You shudder in desire and disgust
A feeling of apprehension surrounds you
In the midst of this room
You find a beast
You find a foe
You find a hazard

On the verge of tears you try to cry out
Yet to your horror and sheer disbelief that protector
That beast
Does what a marauder like this would do

Claws grabbing your sides
Shoving your body into position he thrusts
Shoving his sex driven organ into you
Grunting and snarling in pleasure and thrill, he continues his treatment

Eyes un-blinking
Mouth opened in a silent scream
Body trembling and protesting to the unwanted intrusion
Eyes watering
Tears streaming

The lit candle
The dull light
A dim room
It’ll make you run in fright

If you don’t he’ll come
He’ll be your beast
He’ll be your end
And in the end you’re nothing
In the end you’re powerless
