Things happen in a strange way
You think they will go one way but then they change.
Sometimes it leaves a hole in your heart
Other times you feel like just dying .
When this happens you don’t know what to do.
There is no one to help you through.
But whatever happens you've got to move on through,
keep on living, for everyone else, not only you

What is this thing called love?
Opinions vary, push and shove...
Everyone has their own opinion.
No one knows the meaning true
Four letters are all it does imbue...
Some believe, some don't... does it exist?
It matters not what happens, dove,
We try to find this thing called love...
Most of us don't succeed.
Always hold your head up high
In case it falls down from the sky...
It may not appear as we have imagined.
No matter what happens in life,
Whether love is found or not,
Be positive... it's all we've got.
I don't know if you would consider it a poem or not but I do. I know it really doesn't sound like one. If there is anything I could do to make it better please let me know. Thank You.

Why after so long?
It has been 13 years since I last saw you.
Why after so long do you decide to come back into my life?
It was a shock at first to hear from you.
It will take me sometime to adjust, but I will with time.
Sometimes it is hard for me to talk to you because I don't know what to say.
I must admit I was upset at first because I don't know why it took you so long to get in contact with me.
Honestly, I still don't.
Maybe things will work out for us maybe they won't.
Only time will tell.
This poem was written for my farther because the last time I saw him I was 2 and he started a couple of years ago to get in touch with me.

You say that we are best friends
But yet it doesn’t seem that way.
I talk to you every night
But never really see you.
The last time I saw you was at the fair
I haven’t seen you since
I probably won’t get to see you until fair again
If it is so it will be a year since I last saw you.
It seems to me that you have just pushed me aside
Being pushed aside by my best friend hurts.
You go out every time you aren’t busy to see all your ex-girlfriends
But yet you haven’t the time to stop by and see me who you call your best friend
I don’t know if the feeling is true and you really have pushed me aside
I sure hope not for if it is I will be crushed inside
Maybe it is just something you are going through but
I hope things change for us and you look as me to be a best friend again
This is a poem I put together by using thoughts of mine. This really did happen as a matter of fact it has happened since fair but I haven't felt pushed aside until today. I hope you all enjoy this. Let me know what you think and if things can be changed.
