Demolition

Demolition

I need a Divine demolition
a radical reformation
a transcending transformation
every layer
every bumbling barrier
every wall
take it all
make it fall
in this fiery trial
brazenly burn it down
until not one broken
jaded
jagged
pointed piece of me
can be found
and in the gray soot and ash
remove the painful past
rebuild
replace
all of me
with all You
show others
all the wonders You can do
It doesn’t matter
how much it hurts
Only You are worthy
Heavenly Father
give them the opportunity
Allow Jesus to be fully
miraculously
manifested in me…

Like the Phoenix you wish to be reborn from your ashes...
A clean slate...
A new beginning...
I like the concepts, but it's the ending that worries me.

Pops, I am confident all will end well; I know you are an intelligent individual and I certainly don’t need to explain the message behind my words...However, I am certain of this, it is sad that a writing group with the excellent caliber of writers it has is not more active. I see very little has changed... the clicks and politics still remain...perhaps I was wrong in returning. Maybe the administrators of this sight need to come together and have quality discussion on how to regain active membership...and just to be clear, I am not offended but trying to understand. I truly believe we all have the power within our grasp to encourage and build potential in others so they can realize their potential and become the gifted writers they were meant to be! We can change our direction and a make a difference...Blessings!

I agree with you. At this point I am the administration, and the only reason the site is still on the internet. The Owner has kept it operational because I didn't want to let it go, and I'm covering some of the expense involved in keeping it.

I'm 70 this year... don't have the energy I once had, and my own personal muse has been on sabbatical for a few years now. I keep coming here hoping that there will be scads of posts from existing members and a pile of requests to join, but the only ones who have been wanting to join are foreign bots.

I'm open to any suggestions and any assistance.

Like the poor Orca caring for her dead pup for 16 days now, I sometimes feel like I'm the janitor in the mausoleum keeping the spiders and roaches down while dusting the urns.

I'm delighted you're here, and I truly feel you were not wrong in returning. But I'm a realist. Please stay as long as you are comfortable, and when you leave again, please nourish that little spark that prompted you to come back. As long as that ember glows, then all I do here has a purpose.

:hugs:
