The Circle

The Circle

Your child comes into the world
and takes his first small breath
Begins to breathe his mother's love
and feel her soft caress

Such innocence apparently
could only come from God
A miracle assuredly
so perfectly unflawed

In time he'll grow into a man
then right before your eyes
The years will pass as you grow old
so quickly time can fly

One day he'll find someone to love
who cares for him like you
And soon another child is born
That started with you two

Really lovely Bags. :-) I recently visited my mother with my own kids, and was able to see my brothers, invalid grandmother, etc - whom I have not spent time with in some years. The circle of love felt very present then, and while tucking my children into bed with my mom in the room I asked them, "Do you realize none of us in this room would be born were it not for this little lady?" Your poem brings a smile to my heart in a way only a parent can understand.

Ah! Congratulations to your entire family, bags. The happiest days are when babies come - and a possible Scorpio child to boot? Ha ha. You are blessed. :thewave:
