I desired
a message from above
you are the sign
of certain, steadfast love
some indication
is all I seek
the good earth shall
inherit the meek
the sign of Jonah
to a cruel and callous age
right there in the book
on the printed page
the second chapter
hidden number nine
your name is savior
your a good friend of mine
"Salvation is of the LORD"
it means Jesus, I see
I was a slave to sin
his loss means my liberty
he rested on the Sabbath
in a rich man's tomb
woke up Sunday morning
erasing clouds of gloom
now he shines
brighter than the sun
the root and the offspring
God the only One
in a pit of self
down we descend
soon enough with trust
our tribulation will end.

Re: Signs and Wonders
Friend, What a beautiful poem about Jesus and His resurrection. He died for our sins that we might have eternal life. And the trials and tribulations we endure here on earth, I try to remember that He is with us always and walks through our days with us. We face nothing alone! And that is a comforting thought to me.

Re: Signs and Wonders
Thanks, Darlene. I do believe he shares our sufferings with us, as we share his. But we are blessed to participate in his glory!
