God is love
God is love
In a world so full of sorrow
God is love
In a life with no tomorrow
God is love
In a heart so deeply broken
God is love
Where words are so misspoken
God is love
Where the grave is so consuming
God is love
Where the tares of hate are blooming
Just know that
God is love
Come to the alter of grace
In the sanctuary of peace
Bow before the cross
Upon your bended knees
Confess your sins and sorrows
Have faith in Christ above
For in all things you may go through
Just know that
God is love
God is love
When your path is dark with danger
God is love
When you’re married to a stranger
God is love
When your soul is torn and weary
God is love
When your days are dark and dreary
God is love
When your family meets disaster
God is love
Through the days that come thereafter
Just know that
God is love
Come to alter of grace
In the sanctuary of peace
Pray to Christ for strength and hope
Upon your bended knees
Confess your sins and sorrows
Have faith in Christ above
For in all things you may go through
Just know that
God is love
God is love
When you're fighting an addiction
God is love
When you're ill with an affliction
God is love
When you face ill will and rancor
God is love
If you're a boat without an anchor
God is love
If you're living in the shadows
God is love
If you're standing on the gallows
Just know that
God is love
Come to alter of grace
In the sanctuary of peace
Where Jesus heals the heart and soul
And brings your faith increase
Confess your sins and sorrows
Have faith in Christ above
For in all things you may go through
Just know that
God is love

Well done.

my friend Stephen, I rejoice in every word you wrote about God is Love. You certainly covered all the bases. I would add nothing! All true to the glory of God. Blessings, Darlene
