My lord God spoke to me.
So I grabbed some plastic trash bags,
And for Him, that's what I'd be!
That day, the rain was falling.
My bags covered large and small.
Ponchos, boots and rain hats,
served my Savior's call.
If you ask God for assignments,
don't be surprised
what comes your way!
because when you find
a need and fill it,
someone's prayer
will be answered today.
And whenever God prompts you
to do something for Him,
don't question the reason why.
Remember, all He asked of me,
was to keep His people dry!
