Found it’s comforts just a lie
Hopes and dreams built like castles strong
Would crumble to dust as I would cry
I cried in the darkness alone and afraid
Unaware of the love that was glowing
If I would only just lift my eyes
To see God and the gifts he was bestowing
I did, I did, I raised my eyes
Oh sweet, how sweet
What a grand surprise
Glory, Glory, I saw the light
Darkness fled before my eyes
And revealed to me my Savior strong
Jesus Christ, where I belong
No more darkness
No more fear
I have a home
For God lives here
I have a home
For God lives here
My life so long was wasted
My hopes and dreams just dust
Until I found the light of the world
Righteous, strong and just
Jesus Christ, my savior
Has brought me finally home
Thank God I looked to Heaven
Now I’ll never be alone
My home has strong foundations
It will stand the test of time
No more darkness over me
I’ve left that all behind
No more darkness
No more fear
I have a home
For God lives here
Finally, I have a home
For God, my God, lives here
