My Potter's Hands

Lord, at Your feet I humbly kneel,
On this earth, Your potter's wheel.
Lift me, I'm Your lump of clay.
Fold me, mold me to Your way.

And in Your oven, the yellow sun,
Heat me until Your Will be done.
Then, as Your vessel, tempered and tall,
Fill me, Lord Jesus, with love for all.

Your Word, Your love, Your truth I'll share,
And daily bow to You in prayer.

But, Lord, in life, if I become broken and spent,
And no longer Your image I represent,
Lift me again to Your potter's wheel,
And again Your hands, oh let me feel.
