You see, I know almost exactly when:

Perhaps God has a strange fractal humor?
What good is the gift of the second sight
If one is not given facts for the rumor?

I think the Deity would not have provided the apple of knowledge unless He had already preknown the outcome. He is purportedly infallable, no? As for "second sight"... it is, as you have pointed out, a "flawed" gift without the added information of temporality.
