The Unresolved
The Unresolved
I've wondered since I was a lad
So many questions I once had,
but through the years most answers came
The unresolved were what remained
I've found them harder to ignore
Increasingly, since I was four
Each time I think they're gone for good
they come back like I knew they would
Perhaps some things I need not know
No matter how old I may grow
My list of questions over time
still unresolved, but always mine

Re: The Unresolved
To me, "what's all this", from time out of mind.
I kinda feel that everyone has it, conscious or not.
Thank you.

Re: The Unresolved
Ever since the time too long ago to remember, a question "what is this (life) all about?"
came to mind it's been lingering. And I guess everyone feels it but having it conscious
or leaving it behind is up to each person. I hope this is less confused. Anyway, when
instinct comes to surface, it seems gone. Sorry about the confusion.

Re: The Unresolved
Living without the answers. The great 'letting go' for peace or ponder for 'getting low'. I still love the quote from Ayn Rand (Don't quote me;}), "There are no contradictions. If you find you are faced with a contradiction, check your premises, you will find that one of them is wrong." I just wrote my second free verse. This piece about the unresolved, is just amazingly right there, when i sign in. You are such a master at rhyme and rhythm too

Gee Bags! you must have been awfully precocious at the age of four! Lets see, what was I doing then?? Oh yeah! driving my tricycle at warp speed to the edge of the long winding stair case going down! Don't know if the brakes always worked though! But it may have been responsible for me later to become a poet...at least for a couple of years. A little bit of brain damage for some types of endeavor can be an asset don't you think? Getting back to the poem, I like it allot even if you lied about the age of four. Your rhyming ability never diminishes, never an obstacle to the idea you want to express! I've ordered a star somewhere up there to keep on shining in YOUR honor four billion years after your dead. After that, the honor will be for someone else. I haven't named the beneficiary yet.

Thanks Bruno,....I've always been precocious. I had a trike that I used to ride on our front porch. I can still picture it,...and yes I think a few bumps and bruises during that stage of my life may have made all the difference. Four was a watershed year for me personally. I finally shed that damn trike for aBruno wrote:Gee Bags! you must have been awfully precocious at the age of four! Lets see, what was I doing then?? real bike,...and I've never looked back. Today I ride a Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500. I much prefer it over my trike. It can go much faster around my porch.
Thanks for the star,...I've always wanted one of those.

Great, bags. Still a mystery, this life a mist of history.
