ARISE O’ FAITH

Through out our lives the mountains seem steep,
and we’re reluctant to climb,
Yet each one is a journey set before us,at its appointed time.

Often the devil will throw rocks at you
frequently causing you to trip and fall,
But learn to resist him dear friend,
if it means getting on your knees to crawl.

Satan will also bring on the storms
causing your day to be dark as night,
If you allow Faith in God to arise in your heart,
God will shower you with His light.

It’s not in speed, nor how you do it,
that’s essential in arriving at the top,
It’s trusting in God, by keeping the Faith,
and having the determination not to stop.

God brings us through something,
to bring us to something, when in Him we trust,
And it’s in the Mountain top experiences,
knowledge and wisdom is given to us.

If, with every mountain we climb,
we were to bring Faith along in our hearts,
The mountains would be less difficult,
and there’d be more experiences for us to impart.

Those who arrive at the mountain peek,
will know and learn soon enough,
They’ve achieved their rightful place in life,
and its Faith and determination that made them tough.

So cast all of your fears away dearly beloved,
today is your appointed time,
To confront the mountain in your life,
and climb, climb, climb.

On your mark, get ready, get set,
Start……
By allowing FAITH in God,
to arise today in your heart…

Wonderful piece of Faith Debbie! Today it even appears more important to have faith although people do not really stand to it. Without faith we are lost in wilderness without light and without hope. I'm not refering to faith just by being registered to a church or religious group, but I talk about our individual faith deep in our heart, from which we get strength and support, which we offer to anybody in need and which fills our lives with all the divine blessings. Go on, sharing your faith and thank you!

I don't know how this came to be..but I was so surprised to see this received and award.
I must say I am crying tears of joy and yet tears of so much appreciation. I never knew when I wrote this poem I'd be climbing a tough mountain as I have been lately with the tragic death of my mother in law and my aunt. God knew I'd be climbing that mountain and so He gave me this poem. I pray that anyone else who is climbing a tough mountain today or in the future that you will climb it with faith in your heart and holding on to Jesus' hand.

Thank you once again for the award I am overwhelmed by this..bless you one and all that made this decision..I love all of you in the Pages.....

Though you are in the storm dear brother, don't let the storm in you...soon it will be all over and you will be soaring like an eagle, not to fear God is with you always and He will walk you up that mountain so rejoice always in Him who has chosen you.
