I found God before I found my mothers wonderful beauty......but seeing the beauty in my mother and her love for me and her intentions in raising me have brought me intimately closer to God....she and I were verbally abusive with each other up until the day she died....It was God that brought to my attention her beauty and all the invaluable things she taught me and wished for me....unfortunately she wasn't able to see her dreams come true in me until after her time on this earth...she felt that she had failed with me and it took it's toll on her, all her past mistakes and such, I always tried to tell her that her past mistakes turned out good but she couldn't forgive herself....Phillipians 4:8 really helps me to see the beauty in everyone now....as a smoker, I found something really cool and non-judgemental at a local Catholic Church.....an ash tray provided in the courtyard with the statues of Mother Mary and a couple of saints....I go there to share things with my mom....just personal conversation....time spent with her in Mary's presence....it's really spiritual though I'm not Catholic.....and just to admit, I go there drunk sometimes but noone is around and I get a lot more out with her in that state so I forgive myself....I speak to her as if she is there so it's really healing and it's all good stuff not at all verbally abusive anymore....

Thank you Beejay, Debbie, Gordy... sorry I havent been around much...

I always hope that I would be able to come by more often... but USA is faster paced than my good old Tanzania... and before I know it, its time to go back to work again...

I do appreciate the bump as it will save my poem from being deleted by the system.

Appreciate it much

Nosh

You are part of our family, Naush. Never out of place, and we all feel dysfunctional.
