I've got a dozen...
roses, black and bloody red,
drying in my heart

Lost in your long loss...
I hold back their gift, their pain
And wait for the rain...

The rain to wash the dirt...
the last lonely piece of crust,
Making your rose white......

Cleansed roses indeed dear brother..and that beautiful Rose of Sharon is the Rose that died for us that we may be cleansed.
