Where We Lay

Post by bags123 » Tue Mar 18, 2014 7:20 am

Where We Lay

The search to find an answer
to those questions we can't say
Only sense by intuition,
or emotion when we pray,
and despite our best intentions
we'll eventually decay
Any clue to finding answers
rotting with us where we lay.
I prefer to keep an open mind,....but not so much that my brains fall out.- Carl Sagan

:hello: my friend! I pray God will help you find the answers you seek, or help you to understand why no answers come. Your body may rot and return to dust, But that is only our shell and I think you know that. When we die our next breath will be with Jesus and we will have a new and glorified body. (anyway, that is my Biblical understanding)

Thanks for commenting Darlene. I respect your faith, and your diligence in following what you believe. It just doesn't come that easily for me to accept without my questions,...and I realize now at my age that I might have to be satisfied with the little I already know. :book:

:crying: Oh, bags, I disagree with you. Age has nothing to do with it! Do you have a good concordance
/ if so, use it. The answers are all there under any subject. If your brain is like an umbrella, open the umbrella of God's word, the Bible. It will expand your knowledge as it continues to expand mine. I don't know what questions you have? But God does have those answers! Ask Him to reveal them to you. If I can help in my own small way, you know where to find me.

We had a gig last night and a three-year old kid of my friend came on to the stage
with tambourine in his hand but actually he wanted to sing! "Some other time, my master."
so I told him silently as the light shone the whole place.
