Forbidden access.
To sleep perchance to dream of things long gone
Of small significance which linger on.
Faint shadows of the future seen in dreams.
They do not last, dispersed by bright moonbeams.
Suffice to wake the dreamer from his trance.
Into a whirlwind change of circumstance.
What is to be, seen as through frosted glass.
Strange images appear but quickly pass
Scenes from the future which we think we see.
Fantasies which may or may not come to be.
There are some things we aren’t allowed to know.
Because fate has decreed it must be so.
