Idealism Over Time
Attitudes will change
When they're rearranged ,
by the lessons learned in life
For the young it's strange
How time can exchange
what was wrong,
with what now
seems alright.
Now and then, here and now,
when you've spied a bright star,
one would hope
there'd be something to wish for,
but despite the bad news,
attitudes that are bruised
are more healthy than those
who've been ignored
