I won't suspend you
or try and upend you
you can depend on my solid word
I've listed my vices
and a list of devices
to aid with thinning the herd

inside your head
stinging rebuke
of a long yesterday
if you don't come back
to the point of decision
I'm still not OK

you gave a look of stone
and I'm fine being alone
but why don't you see
through my eyes
it's hard to fathom
the future is lies

I'll ride the skies
to bluer pastures
under the stars
making newer disasters

commence with violence
and dispense with pleasantries
killing time
to the sounds of the seventies

I'll hold on to this moment
I will freeze this flame
you're more than a dying ember
I hope you're glad you came.

Each stanza is definitely a "singles" eveint on its own. It's a great change of pace and quite unique.
