it depends
upon what one percieves
From the misinformation
by government thieves
Who control
what to think,
what to eat,
and acheive
How to live,
teach our children,
and what to
believe.
They embrace
tender minds
with their pretencious talk
Teach the glories
of war,
when it's wars
others fought,
And ignore
all the reasons
for a lack of
free thought.
Unconcerned
by the truth
Telling lies
we've all
bought

It seems the truth consists of lies
That politicians advertise..
although we have a chance to vote.
It does not mean that they will note
the opinions we express.
In fact they could not matterless.
To governments whilst they're in charge.
Its true to say that by and large.
We are a nation ruled by fools
who operate by different rules.
From the man on the omnibus.
A fact that makes me furious.
I vote because I think I should
although I know it does no good.
Don't talk to me of politics
It is the art of dirty tricks.
Apathy rages on unchecked
no matter which party we elect.
