A Conch… that was me.

Post by BeeJay » Tue Aug 03, 2010 11:29 am

This thought in verse I pour
A part of me forever left
In history’s folds of browning rust.
One day to leap from pages of my trust.

Who finds this, has found me
In thoughts where tranquility lies
But for them, we are but naked shells
Tossed to bathe, in faith’s foaming sea.

To wait, for what, one wave may bring
Or take back to the bigger sea
Till one day the air we breathe
Blows through a conch that was me.

My thoughts like wisp of smoke
Rises from chimneys unseen
Long after I have left
Thoughts soar to reach the screen.
