Raped, Beaten and Baking Cookies

Thank you god for making me the lesser of the two
For laying me at the whim of what any man may do
Thank for making me a servant to the world
Thank you god for making me a worthless little girl

And all around the world it shows the value of my womb
a place to recreate the earth and let all mankind bloom
but we stay raped and beaten, thrown aside like trash
forgotten in a brothel to sell our souls for cash

faces slashed by pimps, “she deserved is she’s a whore”
raped her in a mini skirt “ it’s what she was asking for”
molested by her father, the neighbor and his friend
there no such thing as date rape, “no” means “yes” to them

atrocities such as these happen every day, but
women are proved the weaker sex in many different ways

she finally left him, she finally got a divorce
he got the cars, the house, the money, but she got the kids of course
now he lives his life, and he’s a daddy once a week
but if the tables were turned what kind of mother would she be?

If a man punches his wife, he gets out on bail
If a man punches a stranger he gets 2 years in jail
It’s just a domestic disturbance, it’s not a real assault
The wife must have derseved it, he was drunk it’s not his fault

It’s a depressingly masculine world and we’re expected to smile
Bake cookies, stand behind him, put you dreams off for a while
And if we rail against this establishment of men
Were seen as trouble makes or ungrateful lesbians

Thank you god for creating me, to struggle everyday
Constantly trying to be equal in every way
That sad truth will always be, that we’re the lesser of the two
but I will beat the odds everyday, because that’s what women do!

Hard to comment on something so shamefully true. Strange how our "entertainment" and news media seem to foster and support this chavenist worldview. Thank you for having the courage to write this.

What saddens me even more, is that women so often don't support each other. We need to stop doing cruelties to each other. We should stand together, support each other, find strength among ourselves. Because of what women endure, we are truly the stronger sex. We need to use that strength to push ourselves forward.

Surely contains a lot of truth but Women are the superior sex Maybe not physically but in many other ways. There are many different kinds of males I hesitate to acknowledge some as men. A real man loves cherishes and protects his lady and treats all women as ladies until they prove otherwise
