A powerfully written reminder of an outrage difficult to comprehend the purpose of.Look at what followed invasion of Iraq and its multiple off shoots. Terrorists inspire terror although they claim to seek justice.
The blood feud still exists

Simply amazing. A tribute and a much-needed lesson. I almost said 'a sermon,' but fear that has too many negative connotations. You are absolutely right. I keep wanting to turn away -- even now. I live here -- in NYC -- I did what I could in my own small way. But the horror remains and remains. Excellent poem. --Firestone

Indelible memories do not preclude forgiveness.
Forgive them father they know not what they do.
A direct quote well more nor less
What do you think that Christ would do
