Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

Actually,...after reading (and enjoying) many of you guys lengthy discussions on various topics,.....I'm finding it more and more likely that God could/may have impregnated Mary. Who knows how it was accomplished,....but there's just as much basis in fact that it happened,...as some of the stuff yo...

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

All these alternate, alien, expositions of intellectual superiority only disrupt the status quo. ...if you keep on writing things like that you'll be a traitor to your own cause. :smash: BTW, any idea how many mortal women - the best looking ones of course - got screwed by the Gods breeding whole h...

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

It's long been known that an immense substratum of commonality resides in all of us. The entire myth making appartus in the world can actually default to one interpretation usually ending in God or in some kind of assumed perfection where death is merely another beginning if you haven't achieved it....

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

In theory, our consciousness could exsist outside of time as a being constituent to the whole while experiencing time in a way first cause cannot , at least not without being diffused into cognizant species and individuals. or not  This doesn't sound like much of a consolation for those wh...

Re: Adios FaceBook

Old timers have learned to dispense with such limitations and consider it a waste of time. I never knew an old timer who was politically correct on anything making him correct most of the time. Since age is a detriment to mastering the complexities of BS what remains is the pure unvarnished truth li...

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

Reincarnation doesn't sound so absurd to me if you consider the change of seasons, and the rebirth each spring of the earth itself. It actually seems to provide some evidence for it in fact. At least to me. Whatever Last Judgement might exist in the hereafter might even involve ourselves as moral a...

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

It's time the last of the dog eaters was taught his place. I believe the Chin's can also claim that dishonor including cats! I find it very dubious as to how "wise" Eastern wisdom really is. Maybe the West feeling perpetually inferior in that respect has perhaps given too much credence? Substitutin...

Re: Bellicose rhetoric and threats?

Bluff is bluff but still not to be ignored. One other thing I've noticed. Kim Jong Un seems to be the only fat person in North Korea. Their consistent efforts to gain attention and respect is beyond pathetic. They haven't yet figured out by doing so they only made themselves more despised. Even the ...

Re: ewww ... a coup

It won't be guns that cause our final downfall or save us. It's the culture of greed and its toxins that will be the end of our species. No argument from me on that. But environmental degradation will, I think, lead to a critical mass of geopolitical and internal frictions which in turn will lead t...

Re: ewww ... a coup

ET~ I admit to not being very knowledgable in how all this is organised so I stand to be corrected. All I can say is the miltary may have a code of conduct on home turf which very often doesn't work very well abroad. I think It depends on who is proclaimed an enemy whether inside of out. If hypothet...

But the military has much more fire power than all the arsenals in the private sector put together. The military exists to defend not merely against foreign powers or to "offe...

Re: Happy St Joeseph's Day

You can't compare the teachings of Jesus - which were already well known before Jesus - with the Church. The former = humanity, the latter bureaucracy and its twin expediency. They exist in different galaxies. ...and note again, as I'm sure others have already understood, I'm not supplying Ratzinger...

Re: Happy St Joeseph's Day

I don't know the whole story regarding this abuse of children by priests only that this kind of stuff was going on long, long before Ratzinger was even born. One of the Marquis de Sade's favorite lampoons was priests picking on children. But to say that this happened or was allowed to happen in mode...

Re: Happy St Joeseph's Day

I'm also aware of what Christian means in Greek and how the Hebrews defined Messiah, etc. Regardless of Konstantine's mother and what became her obsession with Christ & Christianity the whole point is what terms defined the group from the beginning and later on. "Christian" was one of those defining...
