Re: Last night ...
"But what if she's from mom?" How it warms my heart and thoughts to hear these words, Lisa. :hearts: They must be teenagers, now, the sweethearts. Life goes on, Time moves on, children grow. Sending love and hugs to you, Rena and Sarah, and to Jen, along with my best friend for over 40 yrs., Kathy, ...

Re: Pssst...Hey you.
Hi Lady and Spaz. :hello: So good to see you! :thewave: I'm not liking this getting-old business one bit. It seems such a waste to be so smart(ish) now, older, and not be able to physically express it! Like, skipping. Member when we skipped? I actually tried once 'bout 10 years ago, after wat...

Re: Pssst...Hey you.
Ha, you guys are so funny! Good to see you all. Hi Gerry. Not much new here. Kids are older, 20 & 16 now, still at the copper mine, down/up to six cats, our alpha fixed male, Oofy, brought an orphaned kitten into the house last fall and dumped her in the living room, her name's Sammi. I've had catar...

Re: About The Ravyn's Nest
I always come here first, when I visit Poetry Pages, to The Ravyn's Nest. I reread and cry and remember those early days when Jenn touched my life with her story, and my heart with her soft 's' and her silly name for me, Moonie. I miss her so much.

Re: Pavlov's Dawgs (Razing your children)
Hello, Gordy. Just the right write to illustrate havehas laws. It's lovely to read you, again. Moongem Pavlov’s Gods I had always been interested in Pavlov’s dogs, it was my first true awareness of forcing behavior upon a dog, a species, another, in the manner of Godhead. Users, in pursuit o...

To Heinz
How Do Do You It? Hey, Heinz! We’re older, by far. I think of you And your ‘gained wisdom’, And wanted to ask, Again, all of you, How you do It? Then I scoff at myself, Doing It too. Hey, Times! I’m tired of getting older, By far! You’re not! Again, all of you, How do you do It? Then I cough, as I f...

Hi moonie.. long time no see.. Anyway, this might sound weird but there's a Raven that is always in my backyard and always seems to watch me write while I sit on the deck.. It's like it looks over my shoulder to see what I'm writing and what not.. Well a couple of times, when I scribbled something ...

I saw Jenn...
Or, more likely, my 'need' saw her... I am always searching the skies for escape. It's been a terribly dry winter, here in SoEast Arizona. Yesterday, though, brought clouds screw-balling across the sky. I went to pick up my kids at their respective schools a little after 3:00. As I drove up my dead-...

The Ravyn. Jenn... This time of year, I find myself occupied with clouds, and seasons changing. It starts with a dread. I know Jenn's anniversary is coming, but, with my mind, I don't know exactly when, yet, I feel it building. The pain I felt in my predawn three hours of reading her story for the f...

 Wow, Richard... I only scanned this post, and know I need to print it off for further study, it has the 'feel' of what I've been craving, lately, form, formula, theme, a certain limitless, or, um, power-giving ability to control the amount of couplets used, unlike the sonnet. It has personal...

Why, thank you, Richard! This beauty took days, langoring while I thought and wept (I always do that, ask anyone here...), unheard for a sonnet from me, unless there's more to it I lack, and must find. There is such a song in words, not just a song, a symphony, when composed with 'feeling' and not o...

Nothingness: A Sonnet
This is an example of a moment penned with one line, and come back to a week or two, later, by the author, me. I am a jotter of my emotings, some I can read the next day, some I can't. Some are early mornings musings, others, late night ravings. They all have beginnings. What we, as Poets have to do...

 Gordy! You love! This is just what I needed, at this point in my investigations! You've always impressed me with having your spiritualism so solidly incorporated, and, I do remember how you lay in your own blood... Perhaps I am looking for the forest enveloping the trees. Too much, too soon,...

Good Evening, Eternum. I was flabbergasted when I read this piece. Do you believe in Synchronocity, ET? Yeah, I think you do. Reflecting on earlier remarks, I wasn't a 'bible-reader', I read Sci-Fi, and animal stories, and those old Jr. High related auto-biographies of American notables...
