It's a blizzard in New York
Now East Harlem is clean
We are covered in snow
even in the places
you shouldn't go

chicken bones and condoms
all covered in snow
Forgotten for a day
tomorrow the snow
will melt away

These moments
These moments will never stay
every good moment goes away.

Wow, it's been a couple of years since I've looked-up my old work. This is probably the best thing I've ever written.

I remember the days here in the US when the sidewalks didn't even have the depressions at the corners to allow wheelchair users to cross the street! Things have improved, but only slightly. We need to accomodate ALL our citizens!

I really enjoyed this. it made me think of George Carlin, who in my opinion was both a prophet and a comedian.
